Cheers.
I know she was in that film with Stallone and Entourage, but that's it as far as my knowledge of her movie career goes. I'm sure we get the chat shows over here and it gives her exposure in the States, though it always surprised me she was as popular as she was in the States and if she was seen as this 'figure head' for the nu age of Girl Power, that's the only reason I could think of girls like you sister starting to watch the sport. An MMA fighter doesn't really feel like it's the fit for girls to look up to or maybe it is/was.
I never really thought Rousey was as bad as some folk on here made her out to be - I thought when she refused to shake Tate's hand after their 2nd fight was a bit catty, but I think a lot of the dislike for her was just people wanting to see her knocked off her perch. I always thought she spoke well enough and her pre fight talk was nothing 'worse' than '.....after I beat this chick' Lots of fighters say the same along those lines.
Cyborg seems like she has about 50 PR people behind her with her CyborgNation stuff, wearing a Hijab and I think she has this sense of entitlement about her, but something about her being caught once for PEDs rubs me the wrong way - as it does with any fighter. She's definitely more exciting to watch, imo, but her options seem limited as to who she fights at 145.
