This fight would be so amazing but I really doubt that this it could ever fit for a ppv main event? I'm almost sure this could landed as a co main event on a PPV event but except for a UFC Fight Night ,this fight will couldn't worth a PPV headliner spot

Idk BUT I would buy it over the Rockhold/Bisping squash match that's for sure.

After Cruz/Faber, next 2-3 BW title fights are going to be awesome. Looking forward to it.

already counting out "no love" :'( . no on the ppv, but it would be perfect for an ufc fight night main event

I can't see it doing worse than the PPVs that MM headlined, but it would make a great Fox main event.

Definetely worth watching if you're a hardcore. Would need a great undercard to crack 250,000 buys though.

Not sure. All I know for sure is that I would watch.

This exacly. Some really fine contenders are growing up in BW. Really looking forward to those fights.

Anybody can headline a PPV the question should be can XXX vs YYY headline a PPV and sell ZZZ PPV buys?

As much as I love almeida. I don't think that could headline a ppv. A fight night or fox? Sure no problem

Co-main yes, fox yes, but PPV, naw...

TJ VS Cruz 2 (and depending 3) could def sell 400k tho I think, especially if they start talking shit to eachother

Let Almeida fight Dillashaw and see if he can handle movement like that before a title shot.

Would watch either way.

Maybe if Almeida gets a bigger name, it definitely can be something. I know that kind of crap doesn't matter to me. A good fight is a good fight. I'd love to see the match-up and would more than deem this worthy of being a headliner on a PPV card. I can definitely see me getting a shitload of thumbs down from the Sherbros for it.

No.

For the hardcore fans, this is an incredible fight.

For the casuals, they have no clue who Almeida is, and probably barely know Cruz from his FOX analyst role.

Currently, Almeida would need to fight Ted Cruz to do a PPV.

Against Dom, it wouldn't do so well, but the matchup is predicated on a main event win on FS1 next week (presumably s fancy KO). Of course, that event probably won't draw big ratings in the firSt place.....

It wouldn't matter anyway. Dom can't headline a ppv now. His last fight was a SUPERFIGHT (kinda), and it was on tv. His next one is against easily the biggest star in the division, and it's co-main.

Of Course it can.

If they want like 150k buys maybe.

Love Cruz but you gotta be a great talker and a KO artist to be able to put up big numbers under 170 pounds

I wouldn't get too over excited about Almeida. His offense is crazy but it's also pretty wild and sloppy and Codys boxing is crisp and powerful. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Cody tko him.
