Can someone who was once a prostitute ever really love someone?

Would someone who has sold their body for sex, down to since their virginity ever truly love?

I'd say it's on a case by case basis. Anyone that isn't a sociopath can love.
 
Yes, I mean they're people, people with feelings, of course they can fall in love.

An old friend of mine who passed away in the 90s used to be a screenwriter lost family because of his alcoholism he also got fired from his job so he decided to go to Vegas to basically drink himself to death. In his time there he met a prostitute who he fell in love with. As most from her profession she had problems, her pimp was abusive but the thing is my friend didn't really have sex with her, he just wanted someone to keep him company. Over time they developed a bond, but he told her not to ask him to quit drinking and she accepted this. It was painful for her because she really did love him, despite his faults, their last moments together were amazing she told me, she accepted him for who he was and really did love him.

Seriously though everyone feels and expresses love differently. I would never let certain people in, especially hookers!

Also for most of history, marriage is really just a financial arrangement. The fathers of the brides were the pimps. If husband and wife grew to love each other great, if not, oh well. Hopefully the man is not a total asshole.

So why cant a prostitute find a client she really likes, and client returns his affection?

Do you not think must modern women have been with more than one man? Is she then capable of finding true love?

No.. Whores and promiscuous women in general are not worthy of true love.. They deserve to be beaten and abused..

Only "good girls" and virgins are worthy of true love and deserve to be treated with love and respect..

I used to have a friend who started dating a prostitute, we were drinking and smoking dank one day when i got wind of this horrid turn of events and i confronted him about it... We started arguing and i smashed him in the head with a full 375ml can of Jim Beam.. Were no longer friends

Just so you know... It doesn't seem at all obvious that a Woman ripped your heart out through your asshole somewhere along the line and that you're still in great pain.

The overwhelming majority of the world has meaningless/loveless sex, but nobody questions their ability to love. Honestly, let us not pretend that it is any more or less noble when money is involved.

Intimacy and meaningless sex are separate entities...and neither has (imo) any direct influence on one's ability to experience the other.
