Can a fight be one sided, if both fighters win a round?

I hear often this myth that the Khabib vs Conor fight was one sided. But Conor easily won round 3, tagging Khabib again and again and unleashing a brutal uppercut mid round which partially stunned khabib which to Khabibs credit he managed to recover from that quickly.

So is that the meaning of a one sided fight, or a beat down, when both fighters win a round?

Or was it a close fight and people just want to project this ‘one sided fight’ narrative to make the fight look a lot less closer than it actually was.

Yes, of course. That's the reason why Pride rules for scoring fights is superior to the UFC rules. In a round where both fighters are barely doing anything, one of the fighters will get the 10-9 and "win" the round.

You gotta be utterly blind to think that fight wasn't one-sided. Conor may have edged out the one close round in that fight, but the other two completed rounds he got utterly dominated and then he got finished in the 4th.

One-sided on Sherdog doesn't necessarily mean a fighter won every round. Maybe Fighter C was cheating constantly and managed to win a round without endangering Fighter K due to Fighter C having his energy sucked out in the previous rounds by Fighter K.

Khabib was in control of that fight, if you saw round 3 out of context then you'd think McGregor was in control. The truth being very different when you look at the fight as a whole.

I wouldn’t say Conor easily won round 3, he edged it. He wasn’t tagging Khabib and certainly wasn’t landing anything “brutal” as you said.

But none of that makes it any less one sided. Every highlight from the fight is Khabib’s favor. He had every big moment and dominated each round he won. It wasn’t close and wasn’t very competive for probably 90% of the fight. There was never a point where you felt like Conor was taking the fight. One close round doesn’t make it any less one sided.

It was a 10-9 round for Conor where he put Khabib into zero danger and he was still down 29-27 with only 2 rounds to go and his gas tank was empty. And he quit 3 minutes later. The fight was never close.
