The fights inevitable, and seems like it's the plausible next match up, whoever wins between Overeem and Stipe, which I think Stipe wins. Who ya got?
I think Cain's pressure, and aggression will be the difference. Yes, Stipe has sharper hands, but Cain is the harder hitter, IMO, and his pressure style is gonna suffocate Stipe. To me, Stipe is the imitation Cain, and he can't keep up the same pace as Cain, over a 5 round fight. Also, I think Cain has the better wrestling, and has more of that dog in him.
Yeah, Stipe's game has come around, and he's put it all together, but no version of Cain would ever lose to Stefan Struve. I just think Cain's has too much horse power for him, and while Stipe is the more athletic guy, Cain is the realer fighter.
Before tonight, I did favor Stipe, because I thought Cain was never gonna be the same again since his injuries, but man, he's back for real, and the altitude was the main factor in why he lost to Werdum, plus he was coming fresh off a 4 year layoff, and injuries. Now he has that cage rust off, and he's back for blood. I'm beyond happy that Cain is the same monster as before, and even has more tricks in his bag, which ain't fair for the division.
Really, I want to see a Cain/Werdum rematch, just so I can confirm that Cain whoops his ass when everything's equal, and Werdum isn't on Cain's level, at all. I wanna see Cain beat the shit out of Werdum more than him fighting for the belt, atm.
