Now that Cormier is the champion, Cain has to respect the teammate rule and can't go after the title.

Cain's chance of becoming champ again went from 10% drastically down to 0.

That is unless Cain pulls a Rashad Evans and joins another team.

If Cain joins the Jackson's camp and team up with Jon Jones, it will make the top 5 anime betrayal list.

Must have tweaked something backstage.
Sorry,... Obvious joke :(

This is me thinking about Cain actually fighting again.....<36>

Explain to me what this "teamate rule" is.
I think it goes something like...."bros before hoes".

or if your friend is trying to hook up with this cute chick, but that chick has an ugly friend, so you basically have to take one for the team and keep that ugly chick busy while your friend bangs the hot chick.

That tear unfortunately injured him and put him out for another 2 years

Basically, while Cain was defending titles to the likes of Big Foot and Brock Lesnar, Cormier had to keep Jon Jones at bay.

Now Cain has to keep Jon Jones at bay for Cormier to get his shot at Lesnar.

Id fight him. It aint personal. Id hope he loses the title before that but if it came down to it, i would.

This would make for a dramatic turn of events...

Cain will have no problem not going after the title...he’s been doing that for 5+ years

You're creating a narrative that isn't there. Cormier fights at best for another year. Cain can fight a contender in that time, and get primed for a title shot when DC leaves at around 40 like he's been wanting to for some time. Give him Lewis, Blaydes, or Volkov and let dc do his thing. It'll sort itself out naturally.

Do you guys think Cain would ever try for the Light Heavy Weight Title if DC vacates ?
