On Sunday, Feb 17th, we'll be seeing one of the craziest / badass HW match ups in a long time.
Cain (-240) Francis (+180)
Cain is easily one of the best UFC HW's of all time.
- Freak Cardio
- Decent chin (doesn't really matter vs Ngannou)
- Power in both hands
- Relentless pressure
- Great wrestling (better than Stipe)
- 2 time heavy weight champion
- 5 round fighter
Resume:
Antonio Nogueira
Brock Lesnar
JDS x2
Bigfoot Silva
Travis Browne
Probably the hardest hitter the UFC has ever seen
- Insane power (all it takes is one shot)
- Carries power (rocked Stipe in round 3)
- heavy kicks
- solid chin
- good TDD early on
- tough to close distance on
- Cardio issues
- easy to control on ground
- hittable after gassing out
- mentally weak (over came the demons in China)
- showed trouble against wrestlers with good boxing
Resume:
Andre Arlovski
Curtis Blaydes x2
Alistair Overeem
Will Francis face the same issues with Cain as he did with Stipe? Or has he fixed those errors? And will Cain show up in prime form? Who the fuck knows.
I'm 50-50 on this fight. If Cain shows up in prime form, this will be his. If Cain is rusty and Ngannou is on point, this will be over quickly.
We'll see what happens
