Cain v Werdum cancelled - Cain's licence suspended by NSAC - Cain claims fight still on

Never, because the commission doesn't know about it.

Fighters tend to keep that on the downlow for this very reason. Cain didnt get the memo though.

Yeah, but it's like throwing someone in jail because they said they murdered someone. You still are obligated to prove it. An official determination of someone's physical well being can't be based on anything but an actual physical examination.

He talked about it for weeks in numerous interviews.

If announcing to the world that he's injured and will require surgery immediately after his fight isn't sufficient evidence that he's not healthy to fight then what the fuck is?

I don't understand why he would want to talk about his back injury for weeks if he really wanted the fight to go ahead. Maybe he's trying to get out of the fight like the other poster above said. Wish he'd stop the crazy caveman training.

Right now there are a shit ton of NFL players that are putting off surgery until the offseason. Needing surgery is not necessarily evidence that you cannot perform. You have to actually know what the issue is and evaluate it.
 
Cain is a fucking disgrace. He pretty much took months of Werdums career und even more money Werdum spent on for the useless training camps. Werdum should relly try to sue Cains permanently injured ass to at least get his money back. Also, they should never ever try to reschedule this fight again because Cain just fucked up very badly and doesnt deserve it anymore. Three fucking times now, this is ridiculous.
 
So is Cain fighting? If he's not it's a shame for both him and Werdum. Hopefully Cain can recover from this and come back in top form.
 
At this point the UFC and their matchmakers are the true fools. How many times does this guy need to pull out and fuck you over for you to finally stop putting him in big contender matches. Werdum must be done with Cain already, and should reject any more proposed fights with him.

I don't know if Cain is just a moron, or if he was hoping to have this fight pulled by announcing to the world numerous times that he's hurt. What an idiot.
 
Put this dude on the prelims for now on, screw messing up PPV fights.

cain is not a good fighter. they need to get rid of him.

if you cant fight twice a year at least, then you shouldnt be main eventing anything.
