As per Javier Mendez on MMAhour, Cain Velasquez is training and ready to fight. It's just a question of him making a deal with the UFC.

Yes, Cain will probably get injured answering the call from his agent saying a deal is done BUT if somebody answers the phone for Cain and he is able to make it to the octagon, who would you want him to face ?

I say let's go with the Ford Escort, so we get Maxi Khabib in the title picture asap.

Looks like Weidman in the thumbnail

Ehh I like Cain, great fighter. Each time I've ever got behind him he just quits fighting as much. I mean how can you be a huge fan of a fighter that rarely fights?

Ready to go...........to the ER again

I say let Francis knock his head off

As much as I mock Cain's fragility, I like watching him fight. He's a terrific HW. I think he had the potential to go down as the best, and while I think that ship has probably sailed, I still think Cain vs Stipe is the number one HW fight I'd like to see.

War Cain

He probably just got injured reading this thread.

It's not like he is refusing to fight. His health has gotten in the way of him fighting.

Ring rust is going to make him lose his next match against any top competition, but this time he won't be able to blame the altitude.

Ask Conor fanboys.

Have him fight in Mexico City for his comeback fight, against the best conditioned fighter in the division.

Either Cain vs Fabricio or Cain vs Alistair. If he wrecks one of them, he can leapfrog the rankings a little. I think hed wreck Francis but Francis is ranked too high

His knees are done. His back is done. He's done. It's over. Go home.
