As for me in my 20s it was ok. But now in my 30s it is now unbearable , unmanageable. Thé day after are always terrible, anxiety , regrets. I think that getting drunk is something for the youngsters and as you age you tend to drink less and less. The damage ate too present ( slower metabolism do not help )

Wait until your 40s, brah. Ouch!

Anyway, hydrate throughout the night while drinking. I usually do a bottle of water after every 3rd beer.

Especially a good idea if you have aggravated hemmies; you don't wanna be dehydrated, hungover, and shitting blood.

Water, Kratom, Superiuer Hydration Supplement, Glutathione, Calcium D Gluconate.

95% of hangover mitigated.

Ya can't. You can either be an alcoholic and drink constantly so the hangover doesn't catch you , you can plan accordingly and still drink but know the next day is going to be blown or you can give it up.

Start drinking again.

Or google a hungover ramen reciepe.
I’ve did it once. But it start like this and you might end up being alcoholic… that’s a path I don’t want to go.

The first option is dangerous. The second one is risky. The last one is the better option.

when i used to drink, i'd just drink a crapload of water and try falling back asleep asap. the worst were the days i had to go to work. i'd switch from coffee right to espresso lol.

Those are the worst , the imprevisible middle of the week drinking then get back at work the morning after. My work cannot allow this , it’s too psychological.

With me, it just took me getting to know my limits and when to stop and switch to water only.

When you're young you just want to keep getting more and more drunk, when you're older you want to avoid the misery. With a bit of experience you can even mix it up right to the end, just avoid going to sleep hammered. That's a recipe for an ugly day after.

Your body can take less abuse in all ways the older you get. Be a lightweight. There's no shame in it. If you must drink, cap it at two, possibly three assuming you're a normal sized human. If your tolerance is too high to feel any effects from that, then its probably just too high and drink less or not at all until you can feel a bit more sociable and affable than usual from only two drinks.

After every other beer, down a glass of water and drink a glass before you go to bed. As you get older, hangovers just aren't worth it.

"I never thought it would happen to me... But this hard livin' ain't as easy as it used to be..."

I don't drink anymore, but I used to drink a lot and had some horrendous hangovers.

I've tried lots of things but what worked for me was eating something just before going to bed. The following day was all about getting fluid and electrolytes in. I have used berocca and powerade before with some success.

Sometimes I would eat again to feel better, sometimes not.
But as I got older I needed more sleep the next day. I was no longer able to power through and just get things done or I'd start puking and feeling like shit etc.

Tl/dr - meal before bed, lots of sleep the next day. Electrolytes.

I initially saw the thumbnail and started reading your advice thinking it was Stapleton's lyrics lol
I'm thinking 'this isn't rhyming...' ha ha
