For real though good on them. It’s very evident that the training conditions and techniques in that area of Russia grow some good fighters. Coupled with the culture and environment it makes for tough competition.

Also with a strong focus on amateur competition through sports like Combat Sambo, Sambo, Judo, Freestyle Wrestling, and amateur MMA & Pankration competition they’re bound to produce good fighters.


One thing I do take issue with people always making it about religion which normally devolves into a flamewar in discussions over them.
