I worked with a guy who knew the founder. It was told to me that he figured people were tired of awful/nasty restrooms and overpaying for ice on road trips. If he could guarantee that he could furnish both cheap ice and clean rest rooms, people would plan thier stops at Bucee's on road trips.

I guess he was right.

I thought the logo was some retarded fucking squirrel when I first saw it and texted my then girlfriend (now wife) a picture of it, laughing at it.

I learned about the Bucee's cult that day... lol
