Germans do need to get over it in terms of people's guilt (I have no idea of musks speach or afd). Remembrance is a good reminder in terms of history but that's it. Same with Japanese involvement. I've never met a Japanese person I didn't like. Met some Germans though haha. But my ex manager was German and still love her and her family who were under communism. But of course you'd cherry pick criteria where Jews aren't easily notable as your main criteria for success. Jewish authors don't count but Jewish authors writing in Hebrew do. They lose their Jewishness when they write in English, French, German, whatever.

And of course, Jewish architects won't count, they have to come straight from Israel.

Jewish people are very successful. In fact one could say too successful which is why they garner so much resentment and animosity. When people look around the world at governments, corporations, institutions, social and economic ideologies, finance...basically anything people can point to and blame for the condition of their societies and personal lives...they see a disproportionate amount of Jewish people. They begin to see Jewish people as the cause and source of degradation and downfall of their societies and naturally, they want them to remove them. Thats why so many nations for centuries, including Germany in the 1930s, expel them from their countries. Jewish people are just too successful.

Hitler saw them as the power behind communism. And after seeing what communism did to Russians he wanted to prevent such a fate for Germany. But despite his best efforts half his country fell to communism anyway.

It's no secret there was a lot of antisemitic support for Germany in the US before and during WWII. Lindburgh was famously a Nazi sympathizer, for example. And the US turned away boatloads of Jewish refugees appearing at their shores.

Re: the bold text in the middle, the history of inaction in such circumstances should help anyone to see how dangerous MAGA is in this regard but sadly, the dumbing down of American education has been very successful.

Sadly so many once great education systems the world over have declined massively, main reason being a well educated, informed, involved citizenry are a major threat to a top down power structure.
