Bryce Calls Out Ilia

LOL at having our own flat earth expert right here.

@Mohawk Banditó
how'd you get into the whole flat earth rabbit hole?
Lol at the guy who regularly posts on an MMA forum about how he genuinely thinks he's proved physics wrong multiple times.

You mean how'd I get into the discussion in this thread? Someone else brought up the conspiracy theory and asked how it was used to con people out of money and I answered. I think you should be asking yourself how you got into the "flat earth" rabbit hole in life.

Well, I think the point he's trying to make is that for not believing in the flat earth theory you seem to know quite a bit about it..... but I think you're just similar to me. You're curious, you wonder how someone could believe something so stupid, so you indudge in their ideologies so you can make better judgement and know what you're up against. It's like debating, You have to know the other side of the debate, so that you can counter. (even though you kinda don't have to in this case, because the world is so obviously not flat.)

I've literally always believed the Earth was flat ever since I was a little kid. I remember being taught that we were spinning at 18,000 miles an hour in fourth grade and not believing it.

Love the idea. I even started a thread in shertardia/war room about anyone even trying to steelman their opponents position instead of strawmannng

It seemed most didn't even get it and the ones who pretended to just strawmanned some weird argument that noone had claimed.

As far as Mohawk, he seems to get really triggered by anyone pointing out things that wiki or google cannot.

I mean his post above claimed that I claimed to disprove physics or something like that when really all I have posted are the same conversations that today's physicists battle with. They are generally referred to as a paradox or simply something that we cannot yet understand.

Mohawk trips about it I guess, but more to the point I fact checked a couple things he wrote. The Eric Dubay guy he claimed was a grifter just selling shit is retarded as everything the guy has published, it turns out, is available for free.

He also brought up a guy in the 1800s named Rowbotham. And yeah, it seems all the press that came after was about his grifting through snake oil.

But, what he left out is pretty freaky. This guy didn't just write and lecture. He was actually a brilliant guy. He was one of the few at the time who could perform non-Euclidean geometry. And beyond that, he became famous for his experiments that were performed in a canal. And he would do these public demonstrations with his telescope thst he set up at one end of the canal and then they'd watch a boat go 6 miles without ever dropping below the horizon.

It's hard to conceptualize at first, but his magna opus on all these experiments are online for free as well.

And no, I am not a flat earther, lol... are psyops real here?
