It's old, and it's probably BP'd, but whatever, I hope it hasn't.

You probably know of Bryan Callen from his recurrent appearances on the Joe Rogan podcast, or you might know him from his stand-up comedy, or as one of the original cast members of MadTV, or maybe from one of his many appearances as an actor-- his short role on the ABC family drama "Secret Life of the American Teenager", his small roles in "The Hangover" and "The Hangover II", his role as Joe Rogan in the MMA film "Warrior", or maybe even his starring role in the comedy film, "The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It"-- but he's also a huge fan of mixed martial arts and is close friends with many fighters, including Nate Marquardt.
They talk about many things, including Bryan Callen's comedy, the mentality you have going into a fight, Nate Marquardt's religious views, the fight between Marquardt and Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones turning down the Chael Sonnen fight during the final week before UFC 151, and how the way he knocked out Woodley being the way every man would like to knock out his opponent in a fight.

I forget if this was on this podcast, I think it was but I'm not sure, but Bryan Callen said that he was hanging out with Shane Carwin (another friend of his) and, as he was marveling at how giant he was, said, "If I were in prison with you, I mean... what would I do to you? I mean, if we were in a cell together, you're so giant that what would I do?" and Shane Carwin gave him a stonefaced look and said, "You'd suck my ****."
So, apparently, Shane Carwin's pretty funny, though he didn't show it much on TUF.

let me know what he says way to long to listen to

I can't stand Bryan Callen. He is a loud mouthed pseudo-intellectual.

He is funny in certain movie roles, but I can't stand listening to his relentless shouting while he is on a podcast.

The last time I heard him was on the Rogan podcast and he was arguing with some doctor about aids. Callen seemed to think he knew everything about the disease because he claimed he knew tons of people who had aids.

I go every once in a while to see him at the Improv. He is pretty good at times. You all know he is related to Joe Rogan.... Right?

You know they aren't related at all, right? Maybe you were trolling...

That's false.

He is a great stand-up live. I saw him last year around Just For Laughs time in Toronto. Super nice guy too. He was at the Mississauga Yuk Yuk's which is a smaller club in a shitty suburb of Toronto. He stayed around and took photos with every person who wanted one until the places was empty (including me).

As for his Podcast, he's actually a pretty good interviewer for someone who is new to it. He has had some really interesting guests on which helps a lot as well. If you dig back to the show when it was still on Deathsquad, the first few shows had some really great guests.

When he's confined to an hour podcast, he doesn't really go off on as many tangents as he does on Rogan. It's more like a talk show Podcast with an hour interview. Different type of Podcast from Rogans, much more formatted.

I'll give Callen credit and say that he did know a lot about HIV, but listening to Joe laugh at him when Duesberg sonned him on cancer was hilarious.

Those two are just having polite discussion and Bryan is getting massacred and Joe's just in the background giggling like a little girl lol

I should hate stuff like that, but it's exactly what makes that podcast great.
