Every actor and actress falls off at some point. To not understand that, and to just go an say someone "sucks" because of it, is bullshit.

Lots of actors saw their box office stature and quality of projects offered diminish over time... Charles Bronson, Stallone, Arnold, Rod Steiger. Few have big projects all the way to retirement like Gene Hackman, Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, etc.

But Bruce Willis is an extreme example of sinking into a cesspool far earlier than can be attributed to age or the natural arc of a career. He stopped giving a crap and began sleepwalking through movies that look like they have a budget of $20K. His library of work over the last ten years is barely distinguishable from Steven Seagal's. I've watched some of these stinkers and they're not even good enough to be a bad episode NCIS or something.

I dunno, bud. What has Nick cage been doing lately and he might be younger than Bruce

Well Nicolas Cage is pretty much another Bruce Willis. So is John Cusack. Bringing up Nicolas Cage as a comparable serves to bury Bruce, not exonerate him.

Cage and bruce used to be in good movies

Cusack is a can who was in teen hearthrob movies

I like Denzel, voted for him. I never liked Bruce Willis, other than Pulp Fiction. I didn't like the movies he was in mostly and also something always bothered me with him. But ignore me, I also don't like Bill Murray. I'm told I don't do well with films.

This is no comparison. Denzel wins by farrr. It is like a boxing legend versus some grouchy drunk.

Bruce Willis stopped caring about acting or even doing a good job a long time ago.
He is an infamous dick. He puts next to no effort in his movie roles now, they are just a way for him to get paid.
Kevin Smith has talked extensively about what a bad experience it was working with Bruce.
Sly Stallone has called Bruce out for being greedy and lazy when they were trying to make The Expendables 3.
Look at Bruce's projects for the past 15 years: All garbage, all one-note bored performances.
He treats people like shit, too. You can find many clips on YouTube of him being an asshole to interviewers when he is supposed to be promoting a movie.

Meanwhile, Denzel did a film adaptation of the Pulitzer prize-winning play Fences a few years ago, between Equalizers. He directed, produced, and performed in it, because he cared about it so much.
Denzel's next project is a black Macbeth.
He has always been passionate about his craft, no matter the role. He loves doing live theater, he has Tony awards to go with his Oscars. That's a real actor.
Off-screen, Denzel is all class. There are many videos you can find of him treating strangers warmly and engaging them with interest.

No comparison. Easy win for Denzel. King Kong ain't got shit on him.

That’s a tough one. It’s hard because I think I like more of Bruce Willis’s movies. But the Denzel movies that I like, I really like more than any of Bruce Willis’s movies. Like Man on Fire. And Inside Man.

And Man Inside Man (the porno Denzel did, of course).

Plus, he has one of my favorite lines from a movie ever, in Inside Man.
“It’s not a piña colada.”

It's kind of a toss up for me Bro. They've both had lots of good Movies and lots of bad ones too. I'd say Willis has more good movies, but Denzel is probably the better actor.

Bruce Willis was in Die Hard. And honestly, even exluding that franchise I like his filmography better than Denzel Washington's. 12 monkeys, 5th Element, Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, Unbreakable... his movies are simply more my jam than the stuff Denzel's been in. His movies tend to be in the "good, but I don't feel the need to ever watch them again" category.

Plus I think his acting skills are a little bit overrated... <{Ray1}>
