I like Hudson Hawk. no sarcasm, really. You can't take it seriously, obviously, but i like the premise of a thief duo that matches their projects to a length of a song.

Someone mentioned Sin City, I think the Yellow bastard story was the weakest of the 3 shown. It could be that my hatred of Jessica Alba overshadowed my enjoyment of Bruce Willis being old.

Ah The Jackal was terrible. Awful adaptation of one of the best books I've ever read.

the Bruce Willis "Jackal" is only an assassination movie and has little to do with the novel "the day of the jackal" much like the new "total recall" has jack shit to do with the original other than names.

the original 1973 "day of the jackal" was great. im simply saying i like the bruce willis "jackal" for what it was.

For many reasons, yes she is attractive, but that is about all she is. i haven't seen her in a role that made me think of her anything other than a pretty face. I think she is miscast for most of her movies. I hated her as the stripper in Sin city, as a stripper that never strips. That's a pet peeve of mine, that may have some basis of wanting to see chicks naked, but if you are playing a role that requires you to get naked, and you are well-known to never do it, then maybe that role isn't for you. It's worse in sin city, a movie that was marketed as a moving comic book. Still screen shots from the movie would look identical to the comic panel, and it worked except for Alba.

man, kevin smith sucks.

i don't know about any other stories from his book or whatever, but that story was pretty weak. he talks it up like he could get sued for revealing this information, and then tells this long-ass story that just leads to bruce willis saying he hates it when people scream "die hard!" at him.
