A ring announcer's job is to hype and Bruce always delivers. I know degenerate loser shertards like to shit on Bruce (no idea why but hey losers will hate on anything I guess) but you're going to miss him when he's gone.

I think because of Michael being so immersed in pop culture/movies, etc for soo long we all have nostalgia for him. When you actually watch him announce a fight however - it really doesn’t have that much energy in my opinion.

It's not obscene if he only makes 50k per event....he's been doing this close to 40 years and how many events do you think he has done per year? IMO he was paid decent amount of money throughout the year but nothing obscene per gig...probably the better perk for the job is to be ringside with the best of the best fights in the history of boxing and sit amongst the wealthy...plus Michael seem to live a not so extravagant lifestyle...
