"Let's get ready to rumble" is a much more inventive and iconic catchphrase than "it's time."

He literally has ONE job.

Announce the fighters name, nickname, weight and home town.

I understand he might now have had any idea who Ben Askren was. I'll give you that.

But his job is a ring announcer, they are supposed to get their name, nickname, weight and home town correct. Otherwise, why are they even there?
