Bruce buffer is way over the top, bordering on cartoonish at times. He has this tendency to make it about him and not the fighters. His brother on the other struck just the right balance between being a showman and set piece to something more important. Michael is classy, Bruce is trashy

They both suck and are far bigger 'celebrities' than they have any right to be for doing such a simple, meaningless job. But Michael sucks harder.

At least Bruce seems to convey some actual emotion sometimes (although a lot of it is also contrived, cringey nonsense too). Michael clearly doesn't give a f*ck about whatever he is announcing and you can see him just waiting to collect his oversized sack of money as he is doing it.

so im guessing mike put bruce over into the world of ring announcing. seems like a gig where you need a connection.

I guess to each their own. I prefer the more classy touch Michael has. There something about having a smooth guy in a suit announce the fighter before they start beating the ish out of each other. Maybe in the audience Bruce gets people more amped up
