Just posted a podcast interview talking to two brothers who went from white belt to black belt together:
Take It Uneasy Episode 8: Brothers in Jiu Jitsu with Drew and Josh Vogel

Who are your favorite brothers in jiu jitsu or other grappling sports? My choice is Dave and Mark Schultz, both are world champs and Olympic gold medalists in freestyle wrestling.

You can't have a bjj post about brothers without the Miyao or Mendes brothers.

My favorite BJJ brothers would have to be myself and my brother?

Saulo and Xande are a close second.

In all seriousness, brothers being into BJJ is a recipe for getting good at jiu jitsu. I guess it's the natural consequence of having a training partner constantly around, and the competitive drive between siblings.

    Some examples not mentioned yet:
    Braulio & Victor Estima
    Michael & Michel Langhi
    Leo Santos & Wagnney Fabiano
    Gui, Pedro & Joaquim Valente
BJ Penn's brothers JD & Reagan are also BJJ black belts
