Haven't seen any other threads on this. Apparently, a guy forced his way into an apartment, took off his pants off, and ripped the woman's clothes off and was trying to rape her when the husband grabbed a tire iron and hit the guy. The rapist, with 19 prior arrests, including a guilty plea for beating, stabbing, and sexually abusing an underage girl, died from his injuries and now the husband is facing charges for assault with the possibility of manslaughter.

What do you think will happen and what do you think should happen?

What should happen? Give the guy a medal and let him fuck his wife.

Oh, the left wants to persecute this guy for defending his family
that is the ultimate goal of the left ---- for everyone to be a victim whose only hero is their gigantic government

A tale of another immigrant ironically getting screwed by minority protecting laws.

So he grabbed a tire iron and made sure that Mr. Nash would never harm another woman again. Authorities say Nash died from severe head and body trauma.

So what actually happened? I see a lot of outrage, but not much in the way of actual reporting.

And Northeast effette liberal snobs have the gall to look down on states like Texas, where you can shoot a home invader and walk away scot-free.

This is the work of the globalists government: to castrate the general populace.

The guy got into the building and was knocking on doors asking for water and when this lady answered, the guy pushed the door in, hit her with a chair and started ripping her clothes off. Her husband came up from downstairs and smashed the guy while he was fleeing. According to the law, deadly force can only be used if you walk in mid-rape, so this guy is facing charges because the guy was already running away by the time the husband got there.

Of course the scumbag rapist's nephew commented on it saying, "he had some problems but did not deserve to die." The moral of the story is that you should suck it up and accept a rape and then maybe find out later whether or not the guy had a bad home life or some problems of his own, or possibly was just bothered by global warming, but whatever you do, definitely don't try to defend yourself.

I saw the story on the news while I was at the gym and they had hallway surveillance footage, but I can't seem to find it online.

Ah. well fuck that rapist, no problems with him being beaten to death in that situation.

You invade someone's home, you deserve whatever happens to you. Armed robbery is one of the most heinous acts imo and should be treated the same as murder.

That's messed up. There's no way this guy goes to jail unless there's more to the story that we aren't being told. I couldn't imagine a jury convicting him.

That's retarded. This is instant fight or flight mode reaction. It's not like he planned to murder this scumbag. I hope he gets off.

Shame on the corrupt leaders of New York City!

May God bless this man/husband for protecting his wife! He did his job!

This husband shouldn't be even going to court.

Hopefully charges are dropped. Pretty sure the dude is a violent fleeing felon. Not like the guy chased down and killed some dude who took his TV.

You break in and try to rape someone, you should get killed.

I read the link and there was nothing about the left. Source please?

The law allows you to use enough force to defend, but once you've accomplished that you're supposed to stop. So if the assailant was face down unconscious and the guy kept beating him, that's technically not legal.

That said, if the facts are anything like what is reported I'm glad the guy is dead and if I was on the jury I'd acquit him.

While I have no sympathy for the the guy who was killed, the investigation is probably because the "victim" (ugh) was in the hallway at the time, and was no longer trying to rape the wife when it happened.

DOubt the Grand Jury will take it any farther though. Pretty clear crime of passion.
