News Brock Lesner’s UFC contract pay

Paid so well? 800,000 is shit for their biggest star at the time. No wonder he aint going back.
Well at this time if it’s near ufc 100 Mir only got a reported payout of 45k.. so 800k at that time was a shit load.

And as this says, it makes me wonder if this payout is ENTIRELY for promotional purposes, and has nothing to do with his fight contract. It's not stated anywhere that this money is for the fight itself as far as I can tell, just that the payouts are in relation to his status as champion and that they must be paid based on a certain date from a fight he participates in. This could just be Brock Lesnar money.

I know that some fighters said that they get the PPV share pay many weeks after the fight even a month later.. so this lines up with the 30 days / 60 days window after the event. While the show and win purse you get them right after the fight (you leave with a check from the arena) you can go and cash them in asap.

What is curious the sum for that reveal is 1.6 mill exactly like the UFC 100 PPVs.. maybe just coincidence who knows.

He deserves it, people have short memories, HW in UFC is always dead but the times Brock came it actually got super fun, and we have Brock, Cain and Carwin all going for the top spot, and the forums were full of threads about it every minute!!!. It was exciting.

Also Brock brought it, win or lose it doesn't matter.. he didn't do no 5 round point fighting bullshit, he came in there to fight and he let go!!!!!. Huge loss to UFC when he left in my opinion.

I can't help but feel that there were more intriguing opponents he could have faced than Hunt at 200. I'd loved to have seen the JDS fight personally.

Schaub and Rogaine said (while shooting the shit and whatnot during a The Joe Rogan Experience episode) that they both heard from a reliable source that Brock was getting 10 million upfront for UFC 200.

further proof that the Athletic Commission reported payout is only a fraction of what fighters are receiving as pay from the UFC

but you nerds are still going to point at the model i.e. z0mg he is only making 50k/50k
