I am actually a dentist and my professional opinion is that his teeth are fucked up.

There is no rotting, he just did not wear his fake teeth above that. They are the base of dips.

My dad is a dentist and says it could be from bruxism (teeth grinding). He has severe attrition or abrasion. Teeth worn down to the pulp. Could cost anywhere from 65-80,000 to get mouth restored.

Probably pointless to fix until he is done fighting though.

If a dentist ever told me something was 80,000 dollars I'd tell him thanks but no thanks and I'd be on a $800 round trip flight to Thailand where they'll do a comparable job for like 4 grand.

Well not an actual dentist, but i am pretty sure they form the base for fake teeth, must be common among fighters, wrestlers etc. His teeth are way to even to come from decay imo.
