It was a TKO because he got wobbled (which you said he didn’t), and then fell to the ground, where the fight was soon stopped after he was unable to defend himself.

As for TKO’s not counting, there are no KO’s in the UFC, because there is no count out. Every KO is a TKO. If we go by your logic, no fighter has ever been KO’d in the UFC.
