On his overnight audio on his paysite, Dave Meltzer said that Brock has been training since April (after mania).
He does not know if this was in the works before Conor/200 stuff or not, but it was around that timing.

Weird it took 6 weeks to confirm the fight. Maybe Brock wanted to know 100% if training was going well.

This is a little more reassuring if true, I thought they got desperate and just threw a boat load of money his way to get UFC 200 some attention by putting him there on short notice without much preparation. If he's been training for a while then it's all good.

I will bet it was Brock wanting to see how it went first.

Yeah, that makes sense. If only GSP could also make a decision after all his many test "training periods".

Since April? He won't be fighting anyone in the top 10, that would be madness. I expect a 'fun fight' (easy) vs someone not in the UFC.

Since Dana said late April they had a huge co-main in mind, they must have come to terms quickly.
So I am guessing it was held off due to Brock

Bloody hell, Bisping beating Rockhold and Lesnar coming back @ UFC 200?

Did not see that coming at all.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off if all the "big names" get injured and have to pull out

That's still longer than CM Punk

I don't think he would need the additional 6 weeks to fight HH ;)
haha right? but I think they'd give him a fight he could surely win. I can;t imagine them not giving him someone decently easy. avoiding the top 10 guys

I would bet on Brock

If they made a special rule that stated Body shots are not allowed.

Signs point to Hunt though.
Remember Lesnar has always taken the hard fights.
