Brock can't take a punch

This.

He has a solid chin when he has no choice but to eat a punch. But it now triggers the 'flight' in the fight or flight response and he completely loses composure and looks to run away as far as he can get.

If the gate was not locking him in you can bet this would be him.

He fled once. Not unlike many fighters do except he is awkward doing it and carwin effectively followed him.

They were both badly battered. Dc wasn’t out. He was hurt bad.
Brock bots don't want to accept and that is ok, but he does exhibit the 'flight', 'turtle', 'run' response to being hit in the face. All through fight history certain upcoming fighters get identified very early on in their gyms as 'not reacting well to getting hit' and it is generally doom for a career as the others fighters all know it and it emboldens them to hang on and just land that big punch where they can take over.

Have we ever seen Brock KO'd?

This is the most hurt/rocked we have ever seen Brock. He was badly, badly concussed and dazed.........................and still finished the match(although earlier than planned)

This would have killed 99.9% of men. Didn't even stop Brock from finishing a pro wrestling match.

NO most do not do it. Very few do actually.

And don't bother showing other fighters moving away to get space in a composed way and trying to equate the two as they are not the same.

He doesn’t react like a seasoned fighter. No one can dispute that. He exhibited flight in one fight in his career (carwin). Cain simply beat the shit out of him. As for dooming career, this isn’t boxing. He still can overcome this and win fights. As he did against hunt.

NO doubt Brock is tough and has been hurt far worse than a punch in the face.

None of that matters. The fight or flight response to getting punched in the face is a very unique thing. Punch a guy in the body or hurt him in other ways worse and he is fine and fights through but land that punch to the face and they unravel.

Go to any boxing gym and ask any trainer about it with the young and up and comers. It is generally considered doom for them but some learn to fight through it.

If he can take a steel chair to the face, he can take a punch.

With sound it's even more brutal

They are actually very similar. Lesnar was just not capable of actually getting away and resetting the situation, whereas others are capable.

Lol

You stfu.

Credible would be someone who actually knows saying it. Bas said it once and no one else who actually spars with Brock said it was true. Barry said the opposite actually.
bas said because he heard from pat barry who was his training partner, ffs

Of course he can. It is kind of like fighters knowing that Arlovski and Overeem now have glass jaws. Even when they are pummeling an opponent the opponent hangs on just knowing that they just need to land that one decent punch and they can win. Same with Brock. But the opponents still need to land it and if you cannot stuff Brock's wrestling he can finish you.

Pat Barry is on tape as saying there were not restrictions on hitting lesnar. Pat himself. Not second / third hand pat.

there was an agreement not to say anything

I agree, Brock looked good vs Hunt. But... DC is like a better version of Lesnar.

The smart money is on DC. But it's still a fight I want to see. Bork has a size and strength advantage and ham sized fists for ground and pound. I think DC can get back up if lesnar takes him down. But can Brock ??

Also DC does not hit as hard as Mark Hunt. So he will have to land a lot. Lesnar chin prob much better than Stipe. And he took shots and reacted better in the Mark Hunt fight.

<CanYouSeeMeNow> It's a good fight, Imo.

Like others have said, Lesnar can take a shot in terms of staying conscious but when he does take shots it's clear he starts to mentally break, if he faces someone with pressure that can stop his takedowns like Cain did he will fold. Lesnar can take power shots until you gas like with Carwin though. Hunt has the power but not enough pressure and take down defense to win this way.

I would think taking a punch when you’re juiced to the gills vs not is different

Brock’s a cheater

lesnar is faster and stronger. fight will be interesting to see since it will be a grappling contest
"better version"
{<huh}

Lesnar is stronger, faster, bigger and more agile.

I get your point.

Daniel cormier is a full time fighter and of course he should be better, but Brock Lesnar is the greatest part time fighter of all time.

Lol, okay. I mean more technical. Lesnar was a good wrestler, but DC was/still is better at wrestling and I don't think he will have a problem putting Lesnar on his back.
