The timing actually works out to where he could do both.

Summerslam, another training camp and maybe a Dec. fight, then be in WWE for Royal Rumble through Wrestlemania (Jan-April), fight again in July in UFC.

Keep in mind his WWE schedule is very limited and is maybe 3-4 appearances a month even when he's around. So that wouldn't really interfere with his training.
