Mcgregor vs. Sanchez would be an entertaining fight to save the main event. It's a fight that Conor would surely win, so the UFC wouldn't have to risk him losing before the eventual LW title fight.

Also, Sanchez is already on the card, so he's been training for the day and thus there would be no 'short training camp' excuses from his side. They've had beef in the past, and it could be cool to see Conor become the first person to possibly KO Diego.

Why not just strap Diego into an electric chair or force feed him a bottle of floor cleaner? The results would be the same.

As much as I love Diego and his go-for-broke style, if he's going to keep fighting it needs to be against fellow veterans like Miller, Maynard, Lauzon etc. For the sake of his health. Conor would execute him.

I agree it would be a mismatch entirely, but on the plus side, who wouldn't want to see a highlight finish from Mcgregor? Virtually no risk in the fight, and Sanchez has good name recognition for the casual fan.
