Brian Stann was an A level commentator

I miss Stann. A solid commentator, occupying a good middle ground between the flat uninterested-sounding professionalism of Anik and the hyperexcitability of Rogan. And I appreciated that he really did his homework, trying to talk with every fighter on the card beforehand. But it must have been tiring flying hither and yon so much for ever farther flung events, especially for mere UFC money.
 
I liked him too, he was concise and knowledgeable, I can't stand fucking Cruz with his stupid , "I know it all" attitude
 
Yep Stann was good. Was it a money issue? I thought he didn't want to do it anymore
 
Stann had a good style but kinda bland, I prefer Cormier more, he makes it more fun.

He was boring as fuck, constant monotone and always sounded like a robot spewing facts out with no emotion, I’ll take slightly flawed characters who can get excited and sound genuine.
 
Stann was imo the best one out of the group

For someone with so many accolades in life, I found Brian to be likable and down to earth and he brought a sense of "normality" to the gig. For casuals, hardcores or anyone in between, there weren't many gripes with Stann's commentating and for me, I wasn't annoyed by any sense of ego like Cruz or the biasness of Rogan.

I also enjoy Cormier's commentating and was surprised by Paul Felder and how much of a natural he was doing it. Some guys have it, some don't.. And good luck to the guy, he's off to bigger and better things. Maybe once he's established he can come back and do an appearance or two if or when he has the time.
 
That guy should be president, and he probably will someday.
 
He always did his homework and spoke with fighters and coaches for added knowledge during the fights.

Perhaps UFC bowed to the pressure from the Muslim fans who didn't want to have a decorated marine as a commentator.
 
He wanted more family life. Maybe he can set up a screen, a broadcasting booth and just be a commentator from his garage with some skype shit or something? We're desperate here, Dana.
 
Stann was a great commentator. His knowledge and preparation was excellent and I found him very funny at times. I hope he makes a comeback one day.
 
He was the BEST by far. Sad he stopped doing it. DC and Cruz are ok too, but Mr. Stann is the GOAT.

Bring back Stann! Make UFC great again!
