You mean, James Thompson. Mariusz was past his prime when he left Strongman competitions. He entered MMA in 2009 when he was already 34 - 35 years of age and only relied on his brute strength and crazy speed. He rag dolled his opponent for about 1.5 minutes and if his opponent survived then he would gas out where his opponent would take over since it was an MMA fight. In the first 1.5 - 2 minutes, Mariusz was insane even slammed 340 lbs Tim Sylvia hard, but of course it did nothing since it was MMA and a lot of the impact was absorbed on the canvas. If it had been a street fight, it would be a completely different story. The guy beat up Polish mob bosses and went to jail for it.

He didnt ragdoll James thompson for shit. He just got thrown around and beat up. Hall has 0 chance against Francis. Hall is also 43.

LOL he has no fcking chance. I would mayve agree if we're talking about any WW or under. Francis is a big MF. He probably gets close to 300 lbs and still look in shape...A strongman with no technique lol. Francis would have his way with him on the ground.

I posted before Yair Rodriguez and this guy is probably 50/50 fight, basically if Yair can land 1-4 leg/body kicks before Shaw can fall on top of him he wins.
And that was before I saw people's posts of this guy's medical history of leg problems here so maybe 60/40 Yair.

Keep in mind.. Ngannou probably benches 500… deadlifts 700 (raw.. no straps).. so at the end of the day he’s like what.. 80-85% as strong as Brian Shaw l?

A regular 3 plate bencher.. 450 deadlifter is half as strong as Shaw.. Ngannou is much stronger

You have to remember that these guys use straps and belts and all that shit to deadlift 1100 pounds. They aren’t superhuman

I think all that fat on his face and head is 18% of his body fat alone. When you add the rest of the fat from his derby and barse, you're looking at closer to 50% body fat ratio.

I can probably believe that Francis actually has more lean muscle mass at this point than Brian, factoring Brian's much higher bodyfat percentage.

Ngannou is at about Sherdogeger level of ripped at over 270 lbs.

You clearly did not watch the fight. Pudzianowski took Thompson brutally down within the first 10 seconds easily and remained in control for the first 1 minutes or so until he started gassing out. He just did not know what to do once he took him down. Thompson was much bigger, taller, heavier than Pudzianowski, but Pudz had no issues taking him down easily until he simply did not have the tank for it.

I do agree, Hall has 0 chance of beating Francis.

Lol. I did watch them fight, I guess just a different fight of theres. Didnt realize they fought multiple times. Either way, I think we agree, an off the shelf Strongman is a dangerous motherfucker but not enough for a top 5 HW.
