In this scenario, is it unreasonable to think that the sheer strength and size of Brian Shaw would prevail? Ultimately technique only matters for so much and without the artificial weight limits, these strongmen could be unstoppable in real fighting. They have literally double the strength of UFC heavyweights.

 
If he had 6 months to prepare, gameplan and train intensively, he’d get KTFO after a minute, maybe. Without that training it would be over very quickly.

Even as strong as that dude is, much stronger than Ngannou, he couldn’t apply it in a fight vs world champion MMA fighter of Ngannou’s size and athleticism.

Francis would beat him even if strikes weren't allowed.

There's video of him losing to amateur weekend warrior sumo wrestlers that are nowhere near his strength on paper.
 
Brian Shaw always makes the most delusional statements. This is the guy who believed his fat percentage is only 18%. The guy has a huge gut sticking out with love handles and he believes he only has 18% fat because of a botched DEXA scan.
 
I think Brian Shaw has a better chance than many in here say.

Francis just has a punch and that’s about it.

He’s so overrated and boxing exposed him.

Brian has also been dabbling in other sports and doing pretty well for no experience and just pure brawn and strength.





I think a technical heavyweight with knowledge in grappling and submissions can beat Brian easily.

I really think Brian has a chance in MMA against Francis. Not saying he will win but just like Francis has a punchers chance in most of his fights. Brian has a chance to avoid a KO, get in and grapple. In which scenario, Francis has no real technical ability.
 
6 months to prepare MIGHT turn that 35 second gas tank into a minute or a minute and a half.

There is no exercise to expand the fluid that protects the brain from bouncing off the skull. Neck muscles will help, but to a limit

If Brian Shaw fought, and beat, the HW MMA champion of the world, it’d make him more than his entire strongman prize money (sponsorship aside).

Mariuz made more as a freak show MMA guy as he did as a strongman legend.

He also said he was doing all of this for the fighters and the greater good and he basically fucked everybody else.

Nodoby has trolled Dana and the audience as much since GSP retiring with a title just to come back, win another one and retire again lol.
