I thought it was common knowledge that the benefits derive from living at elevation, thus giving you more red blood cells. Training at elevation just makes it so you aren’t able to work as hard or as long.

Wish they explained the science behind this.

Lots of caveats, actually. If you're interested in it, here's an article. It's referring to an article in Skepter, a Dutch scientific magazine.

I thought the training consensus was "train low altitude, sleep high altitude." I'm probably about 20 years behind, lol. Who knows.

Yes, makes the owner rich, boxers that believe in elevation training dont use this things and they have the funds, they actually go train at elevation, Mexican boxers do this.
