Brian Ortega currently in Brookyln...

Too bad that Dana and the UFC made the wrong fucking fight and tried to let an injured fighter (Holloway) make weight.

Fucking stupid.

T city vs Max at Welterweight for interim Welterweight title!

T-City vs. Khabib is a grapplers wet dream. High level bjj vs. High level sambo/judo. Let's go!

Khabib currently has the same number of official opponents than Conor has title defenses. Zero

Dana missing him right about now.

Anyone. Anytime. Anyplace. Fuck all these primadonnas.

I still can't get over a 2-5 fighter getting handed a golden ticket and trying to hold them up for more money.

I wouldn't offer him a top ten fight for the rest of his contract.

And? Do you think he's anywhere close to 155?

Just let this card die. I want to see Max vs Ortega much more than I want to see Khabib vs either guy. No reason to ruin a potentially great 145 rivalry just to salvage the shambles at 155.

Ultimately this was the replacement to Tony out of everyone that has come up I wanted to see, even moreso than Max. I would have been ok with seeing Max, Iaquinta or Felder in there with Khabib. I think Ragin Al had the better shot at winning though, with the wrestling to potentially stop the TDs and some good power in his hands. The Serra/Longo element is another reason I want to say the upset would happen. GSP over Serra. Weidman over Silva and potentially 1 day replacement Ragin Al over Khabib.

Loving Ortega though. Undefeated #1 contender at FW, One of the most dangerous ground games in the UFC without question and he has the striking to be a danger on the feet as well as shown by his finish on Edgar. Never thought I would see the day Frankie Edgar would be finished.

Too bad they didn't go for it when they had the chance.

What is the latest time prior to an event a replacement fighter can be brought in? Anyone know?

Hopefully the UFC learns from this. The UFC can “ afford “ to have a reserve fighter training and ready to step in at all times for the main event. This just poor management and planning all around lol.

Really disappointed they didn’t go with this option first.
