Wow, not even 12 hours after the results and we're ready for v3 of this thread already.

Where WERE you guys in the v1 discussion, from the campaigning all th way up to the vote count?? That's where all the fun were at! Now it's just very very salty :D

Well everyone thought the stay was going to win, but people missed the fact that old people got nothing better to do than go and vote.

so they voted against the elites, by voting for other elites?

logic

But at least we can do something about our own elites and replace if we have the will to do it. Leaving the EU is just the first step and wont count for much if we continue voting for people who dont care about us. Plus this whole thing has exposed the that the Tories and Labour party are fundamentally at odds with over half of the people they are supposed to represent.

It wasn't all old people.

Your media head social media stars just aren't as large and influential as you want them to be. People that watch 'Worldstar' think that everybody watches it.

There are still a lot of normal people left. I'm sorry. Their numbers are shrinking due to sincere effort, however.

Old people have despised the next generation for eons.

This is just another way for them to stick it to the youth.

Or older people are experienced and wise to enough to realise that money and what goodies you can get your hands on aren't the only things that matter in life, which is all most pro EUers seem to care about. Don't try and dress it up as being pro EU is about tolerance and caring, people can see through the lies, the EU is about selfishness, greed and exploitation at such a level that it makes the politics of Thatcher and Reagan look positively socialist.

I'm not saying you're lying about your own feelings, only incorrect about what you assert about others.
I've lived in Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and Singapore, as well as spending significant amounts of time in Papua New Guinea and Thailand. No issue living in any of those places, although Singapore's a little authoritarian and cramped and transportation/infrastructure issues bothered me a bit in PNG. Unfortunately I haven't been to the Middle East, Africa or the Americas.

Sorry, by I was wrong I meant in regards to the majority of lists being similar to what I asserted. I can see how that would be true with Singapore. Singapore is on the bubble for me for that reason. I saw how they are trying to build out into the ocean with sand while watching a documentary on how we are burning through sand and how it's becoming a problem on a global scale. It was fascinating, but sad. We are destroying tons of ocean ecosystems through dredging. I will certainly pass on Thailand based on all the reports of "suicides" by westerners. I'll have to look into Malaysia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea among a few others. There might be a few in the lower Americas that wouldn't be too bad as well. While certainly not doing the proper amount of research to be 100% confident in my list given I don't have any intentions of moving, particularly given how difficult it is to get into most places, I figured Japan and South Korea would make the cut along with the West of course. I'm also hopeful that the US won't get too bad in my lifetime and thankfully I have no intentions on having children so I won't have to be too concerned about it for any longer than that. I of course still feel bad for all of the people in the future who will be affected by the probable decline/fall of the West.

No group loves the working poor more than the right wing of the Conservative party who are now in charge. Only gonna get better!

yeah man, just want to point out..... that while we may disagree on this subject, I wish you no ill will . ;) some of the stuff on fb is idiotic

Totally dude. I don't take the war room seriously. I got plenty of mates who have differing opinion on these matters. I was winding you up about the 57% too- I couldn't resist. It's all good mate. At least Cameron resigned.

Lol i like half the people I argue with here. Can we just go to Mayberry and talk about Game of Thrones.

In some cases, the mob needs a check. Republics ftw.

On the contrary, the faction of the right that holds this perception has shifted so far that they forgot what used to be on the other side of them.
Maybe you can direct that criticism to people on the right.

Because the reason of leaving the EU was not economic in nature, it was because of immigration, which against has fuck all to do with the EU.
Wasn't the EU proposing a 250k fine per refugee denied?
