Now that i think of it, UK will have terrible times ahead. If UK will do good by it self, it will mean the end of the whole EU because everyone will want to leave.

EU will do everything in their powers to sabotage British independence. I see everything from fear-propaganda to even sanctions from EU.
The road ahead is very rough indeed.

Direct democracy does have it's issues. Look at some of these tweets:

Most people are uninformed.

They sound like they have regrets because they are buying into the liberal media's relentless "you've angered the gods of the market and you are an uneducated dumb racist" shaming tactics.

Democracy has its glaring flaws, but what is a better alternative?

Do you believe a nation should be able to have borders? Do you believe a nation should be able to protect its culture?

You call me a racist, but I think all nations have a fundamental right to self preservation. When I travel to the UK I don't want it to look like Somalia or Syria. Does that make me a bad person?

Do you believe all nations should submit to endless immigration? And can you explain why Mexico is so incredibly harsh with its immigration policies?

Yes i believe a nation should be ablet o protect their borders.

But you immediatly jumped the shark and assume a shitload of things about me because im from Mexico, the tiny country of Mexico of which there is only one citizen, me.

Mexico is harsh with immigration policies, because of immigration policies are being dictated by Washington.

We are doing your job for you, so be grateful for once.

the establishment was trying to keep Scotland in AND the the rest of the UK in

'unfortunately' the people had a different idea.

also the Union Jack represents Scotland too...

dumb cartoon

You mean England had a different idea. Last I checked Scotland voted with a higher % to remain than any other area for either side, by quite a margin.

Um, this country was lied to.

Same as every voter in every election ever. I personally would've loved to call a re-election every time Thatcher broke a promise. It isn't how democracy works.

Alex Salmond was also lying through his teeth all through the campaign, like every politician does. He's the reason Scotland is still part of Britain. Most Scots could see through him as the lying, incompetent conservative that he is.

Um, this country was lied to. The Yes vote would pass in a heart beat now, after all the lies became reality.
Unfortunately many people only watch mainstream media and thus make their choices according to it. The younger generation voted yes, actually most generations bar the old voted for Yes, with an aging population and the huge budget lies of "We will leave the EU", "Your pensions will be cut", "jobs will be lost" "We will leave the EU" made older people vote stay. These turned out to be lies in the end and the grass-roots, low budget Yes campaign done fucking fantastic going up against the all the major media cooperations and millions upon millions invested by the English government.

At the end of the day, the No vote won via scaring the older generation with proven lies and they didn't use Google to check if they were true. Whilst all the other generations voted to leave because they seen through the bullshit. :)

You should see the sentiment of the NO voters now. They really regret it.

Ya, this vote is just fucking retarded. If there is one thing that this whole episode has taught me its that the political left has reached a level of delusion that is unprecedented and that millennials are the most fucking retarded generation I have ever personally seen. I used to think they were second to the baby boomers, but its been made clear at this point.

The older generation voted the way they did because they were tired of watching the demographic and cultural shift. They were tired of streets filled with Muslims at prayer time, they were tired of the utter PC bullshit that has caused the cover up of so much immigrant crime.

The second reason is because these people actually remember a time before the EU, most them actually were there and can compare the two and have decided that it was better then.

Calling older people ignorant of the realities surrounding the EU, particularly people who have seen the post WW2 boom before all the wonderful "financial advancement" that is continually touted by the rich of both parties only shows the ignorance and arrogance of the young.

Why is Britain wanting to get back more control of their immigration/migration policy a bad thing ?

Mexico lectures us on open borders but Mexico is tough against Central American migrants that enter Mexico illegally. Asian Americans and MidEast immigrants to the West support open immigration but their own motherlands are strict on who they let it. The NeoCons support Open borders for the US but Nationalist policies for Israel. This smacks me as do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do .

1.- How does leaving the EU solves UK immigration policy?

2.- Mexico hasnt lectured anyone for years now.

3.- Immigration policy in Mexico is being dictated by Washington. Obama ordered Mexico to close its southern border after the 2014 surge.

Yes it has, its just to dumb to realize.

Reality, no it hasn't. The common man has benefited from things like the advances of technology (LCD televisions are simply fantastic), but he hasn't *economically* benefited. Only the elites have benefited. Real incomes haven't budged except for the elites. What has been delivered? Literally nothing.

Yes it has, its just to dumb to realize.

The common man in third world like countries, perhaps, respectively. Europeans and Americans were better off without it. Let the countries that needed to catch up globalize with each other.

England and Wales.
:)

project fear won the independence referendum for NO, thats why you are wrong and the majority do agree with me. as todays vote showed

LMAO and the stay tried to win it but fear mongering world will end apocalypse coming French and Germans will Punish us.

Are you so dense you don't see your own hypocrisy, leftist mentally ill brain FTW.

You're definitely right, there is no sure fire legislative frame-work that is perfect, they all have their flaws. For something as important as this I would make it at least (maybe more) 2 part, with a direct referendum and a pass through the countries legislative branch of government.
