It's been a long time since I've seen him in anything (some history channel series with Ray Liotta and Jake Busey), but I can't remember him ever being particularly bad in anything. I think he'll get a second wind now that he's aged out of the obvious romantic lead and can play various authority figure roles. He's a big guy with a lot of charisma, might need to lean into the hair loss a little more though. Absent some terrible sex scandal, he could have a strong couple years ahead of him.

Basically everything he did in the 90s was great, background noise to my youth.

Encino Man is one of those movies I grew up on. Same with School Ties, Blast from the Past, George of the Jungle, The Mummy, even Monkeybone was fun in the theatres. He was also the dramatic anchor on Scrubs.

I keep hoping he makes a comeback.

Actually airheads was ok but mostly because of Sandler and buscemi. Anyone could have played Fraser's part.

I've just never seen anything really good from him.

I liked Bedazzled a lot, funny feel-good movie and Elizabeth Hurley was in her prime then.

I remember his segment in "The Air I Breathe", and he does play a really good "big tough guy" role. The rest of the movie was forgettable, but his role was good.
