Holland is a big boy, he can do what he pleases just the same as Leon. Holland is choosing to push forward with training/fighting against one of the most dangerous guys in the division. I have no idea if he's really sick or if it's another false positive/asymptomatic case. There are a few things that do favor Holland though. He lives in Texas were the covid precautions are much more lax, he's been in fight shape constantly since April, he's only a 2.5 hour domestic flight from Vegas, and the stakes aren't as high in this fight as the with Edwards/Khamzat fight.

If Leon loses that fight he's probably going to get his walking papers. If he wins you can't really argue that he's next in line for a title shot and he'll likely be fighting Usman soon after. Leon's career hinges on performance against Khamzat. If Holland wins he just beat a legend of the sport and it'll be his 5 straight within a span of 7 months. If he loses then it's because he faced a legend of the sport and it's his 5th fight within a span of 7 months which is crazy. Literally no real downside for Kevin here aside from not getting a win bonus. If he tests negative come fight week then you better believe he's going to fight.
 
Surely they keep khazmat on the card and put someone else as main event?

I'm no longer a fan of Leon, Cody, RDA, Blaydes, Jacare, or Figueiredo. Just give Khamzat Magny already. I mean for fucks sake, the guy wants to fight every week and you hold out for months waiting for Leon? Give him Magny and if he dominates that fight then everyone will want to fight him.

Lets be honest, when it was report Khamzat may have Covid everbody said it was an excuse for when he loses the fight. there are people out there saying khabib ducked cowboy, its normal in mma
 
Have a feeling bunch of these cancelled fights are gonna end up on the UFC 257 Gooby Card
