they aren't cancelling an event a day before....that would be stupid....for one guy testing positive....if it was tony or justin, then I might understand...but nobody cares about jacare or his little fight...

It’s not about that, it’s about potentially infecting other people. But they’ve been taking tremendous measures to avoid the fighters being around one another.

This isn't entirely unexpected. That was the whole point of testing in advance of the event. The timing sucks a bit but otherwise the UFC is doing what it promised it would do in order to get the event sanctioned.

Don't really see the big deal here.

THey'll just pull that fight (obviously) and continue on, surely.

I think odds are in his favor because for him to test positive right before a fight seems like didnt have symptoms. The people who die from this usually get symptoms within days of getting infected.

if this happened a week before the event, there might be a possibility of cancelling....but not a day before....there is just no way on earth the ufc would allow that to happen...not at this stage...it's far too late to cancel.
