BREAKING: CM Punk just got choked out with RNC/neck-crank

the funny part is, a single storyline has carried the entire company for like 4 yrs now. The Bloodline saga. without that storyline WWE is the same as the rest of the wrestling orgs.
I mean, most of the Attitude Era was encapsulated by Austin vs McMahon.

WCW vs NWO was all WCW had for the entirety of the Monday Night Wars.

yeah but the attitude era had other storylines that worked, just Austin vs Vince was the main attraction. Undertaker vs Kane, The Ministry of Darkness, Dudleys/Hardys/Edge and Christian, DX vs Nation of Domination, Mankind vs The Rock/Undertaker, HHH and Stephanie vs Test, and probably a ton more i'm forgetting. but those storylines were over. admittedly, i don't watch wrestling anymore and only know about it through osmosis but it seems like The Bloodline is the only thing that's really over in ANY wrestling org right now.

That's just it. You don't watch wrestling now. That's the difference.

The attitude era was my teenage years. It was an amazing time. I went back and watched it all again recently since it's now all on netflix. There's a lot of ridiculous shit and garbage in the attitude era lol

Wrestling sucks so bad now. Glad I got to watch the Attitude era when WCW was competing with the WWF and ECW were putting on cutting edge shows..That was some good sh!t..

The product they put out today is shameful..
Not sure if you have Netflix, but they've got the entire catalogue of Wrestlemania and Royal Rumbles on there. Going back to the ones from my childhood has been amazing!

Wrestling today is quite embarrassing. It takes itself too seriously now so there is some weird air of "edgelord and confusion" in almost everything you see. It's quite odd. Sad that it went from something so campy and fun into something so corporate and cringey.

10, maybe 15 years. But the product from 2005-2010 was much better just on the basis that they had way bigger stars like Triple H, Undertaker, Batista, Shawn Michaels, Kane, etc.
Bigger stars but the Super Cena era made me quit watching for years

Well maybe Cena doesn't want to die from a heart attack and doesn't give a shit about being a ripped old guy lmao.

then why did he choose professional wrestling as his occupation and use all the steroids over the past 20 yrs he's been a wrestler?

stopping steroids for 2 yrs after doing it for over 20 doesn't magically make your chances of dying from a heart attack go down.

Dude most of these guys slow down or stop at some point. Even former roid monster Triple H had to quit pounding the roids and retire and has a pacemaker now. Maybe he got some blood work done and his doctor told him he needed to knock that shit off.
