This is what happens when you train under a 2nd rate striking coach like Edmond or Cordeiro. You become overconfident in your striking and end up paying the price of arrogance with your consciousness.
 
It's not a purely Brazilian issue, but it's a solid observation. If you have the belt and a legacy, don't charge forward, hands down, chin out. It's very bad business.
 
It's an MMA thing.

Fighters rushing in winging shots, chin up, throwing power punches without setting them up, not using a jab, shoddy foot work, flashy pointless kicks.
