Well tbf the booing for the ukrainian guy was well deservedthey booed the guy from the ukraine. they'll do anything.
Do you trust your own eyes then?I Don’t trust bloody elbow.
What does right wing Nationalism have to do with the fans being shitty and throwing stuff.
The crowds are conservative in the USA and they don't throw things at fighters.
Yeah, only in Brazil...
STFU
The saying is "I couldn't care less".
Not "I could careless"
Very different meaning sir.
Yeah, only in Brazil...
STFU
It makes sense if you take it as sarcasm. That’s how I interpret it.It’s been said wrong so much that it has just become accepted. It’s still wrong. Still makes no sense. And yes I’ve read merriam’s and Webster’s stupid take. Couldn’t is correct. Could use is just accepted cuz people got tired of correcting people.
I really thought it was due to the rest of the crowd ragequitting the arena mid-fight.It's because it seems like he won by a foul causing a doctor stoppage, not a valid win, the fans didn't like that. They didn't throw anything at Hill later for retiring glover because he won fair and square.
Obviously people havn't gotten tired of "correcting" other people. Language changes over time and sayings are colloquial. It's fine. It’s been said wrong so much that it has just become accepted. It’s still wrong. Still makes no sense. And yes I’ve read merriam’s and Webster’s stupid take. Couldn’t is correct. Could use is just accepted cuz people got tired of correcting people.
This is true. I remember Yair against Jeremy Stephens. They do the same thing in México so...
The fuck are you talking about..? Brazilian fans are doing it for fun and games is what you're saying? That's part of the fun, Moreno is latino that's why he was smiling, I guess this was too much for Americans delicate sensibilities.
I just stick with the fried and true I don't give a shit.Glad to know I'm not the only one who gets bothered by that lol
Dictionaries define words. This is a phrase and out of their jurisdiction.Merriam-Webster and dictionary.com says you are wrong. It is a very common pet peeve but the two phrases are accepted as meaning the same thing.
edit: i'm assuming the guy who said it is american btw. seem to be the birthplace of the "could care less" variation.
I guess you haven’t heard the saying, In every rule, there is an exception.Obviously people havn't gotten tired of "correcting" other people. Language changes over time and sayings are colloquial. It's fine.
