I had 1,5 Fig and 2,4 Moreno with 3 a draw due to the point deduction. Though I thought the point deduction was warranted as momentum was shifting to that point for Moreno.

Lets stop. Majority draw was a gift. He fought well - I'd be willing to bet that figgy didnt take fight serious as he should take every fight. He wasgetting labored and it was a 49-46 fight..... an entertaining 49-46 but 49-46 ( minus the point).

Moreno took Fig down multiple times with ease. Next time if he can keep him down it's a win for Moreno.

I'd like to hear how he feels about the commentary being grossly biased in his favor, and how does getting the ufc Mexican champ push treatment feel? Cause it's pretty evident that the ufc will be willing to pull any strings for a victory for him next time. He just has to make it look more competitive, that's all. I rewatched it, and the first three rounds were close, especially the 3rd, but I scored them all for Figueiredo.

The 4th and 5th were both pretty obvious, and the 4th was the best round of the fight for either guy. Moreno hung with Figueireido, but even with the point deduction it was 48-46 on my scorecard.

If the 3rd was close how can you give it to Figgy? He was only able to hang on in that round because he played Roshambo and went first. The point deduction was for the foul but he should also lose the round if it is close. The damage done and the rest he enjoyed means he should have to get a very clean round or otherwise it should go to the opponent.

I wonder how many rounds where a fighter gets a huge nut shot go to the guy who committed the foul? I mean when they are close. I imagine its hard for judges to get past the bias they would have of seeing the fighter on the ground or bent over in pain and feeling "Well the other guy sure hurt you good."

They should have a stairmaster on high resistance and the offending fighter has to stay on it for the entire time the other fighter is resting. Why should gassing fighters get rewarded for that foul. Anyone who cries (not saying you) about the point deduction taking a win away from Figgy don't realize the nut shot likely took the 3rd and possibly a finish from Moreno.

I personally feel that he won the 3rd and even more so due to the nut shot. Figgy was able to recover due to the break. This was an additional advantage aside from the damage Moreno suffered due to the illegal strike. Point deduction as a penalty for the illegal act and when the round is fairly close Moreno gets it due to the damage caused by the nut shot and the benefit Figgy gets due to the rest.

Figgy had a blatant fence grab that altered his first defence in his favour and this one had an eye poke, brutal nut shot and even late shots at the end of the 5th. He is just a little across the line IMO.

That nutshot looked blatant. I'd have to watch again but that was my impression when it happened. Moreno is on his knees about to cough up blood and Fig gets a rest. How convenient.

He's probably talking about the eyepoke and groin kick. Maybe the fence grab from the prior fight too.

Seriously he kicked his shot hard, that shit even turned my stomach. Impressed how quick Moreno recovered and gave Fig a hard fight. Dude is the definition of tough.
