After the first fight there was an obvious precedent for an insta-hematch, but the last fight Figgy seemingly had nothing for Moreno and was finished. There’s literally no reason to do the trilogy fight right away, add in that Figgy hasn’t performed well at 125 over his last 2 fights, can anyone confidently say that he can still make weight and perform at his prior dominant champ level...? Let Moreno defend against someone who is actually coming off a win or a streak and let Figgy get an impressive win or two under his belt. This will simultaneously prove that Figgy can still make 125 and has fixed the weight cut issues to the extent of being able to properly perform, both items being an unknown at this point in time.
