Movies Brandon Lee fight scenes

Solid cool acting imp

For those interested, the black guy in this clip is Basil Wallace. He played 'Screwface' in Steven Seagal's 'Marked for death' (back when his movies were still entertaining). The movie with the rastas.
Not in my eyes but if you like it great.
Off topic, what's your MA background?
I know that's Mo Smith in your av which gives me the impression you were likely aware of him from his pre mma days when he was an undefeated kickboxer for 10 yrs or so. I used to follow him back then as well so I'm thinking you were a kickboxer or TMA guy yourself?

boxing, Jun Fan wing chun/mma/kickboxing.

Cool. I suspected as much. When was the photo?
about 20 years ago. Haven't seen Mo' in about 15 years, I hear he's a truck driver now, totally out of the fight world.

Wow. I thought he was teaching somewhere.
I met him in Sydney in 92 when he fought Jeff Hollins (not on his record at present for some reason). He was a charismatic guy. Followed his career after that.

I think Brandon Lee came to Sydney briefly around the same time to meet/train with William Cheung (used to train with Bruce back in the day). I didn't meet him though.

I really think Maurice had a hard time with getting older, not being a star and was the classic older fighter who couldn't stand seeing anyone else get attention. That's just my opinion, and I could be very wrong, just based off impressions. he doesn't want to be in it if he's not the center of attention. I tried to get him to manage me and he plain was not interested in managing me or really anyone. I know he did some stuff with the, what was it? IFL? but I doubt his heart was in it. He told me, "you could make some money" and I said, "let's go" but shit never went anywhere.

He's getting up there, it's kinda fucked up if he's gotta keep working at a job like trucking at his age. I don't know his finances but he's probably not rich.

Yeah he was doing hard yards in the fight game when there was no money in it...kickboxing, K1, IFL and early UFC. I can imagine it would have left a bad taste in his mouth that money didn't really go into those sports until after his prime.

Anyway, sorry about the threadjack. Back to Brandon.
