Boxing's place among other sports on NBCS

Just a nice little article about NBCS I found. Basically NBCS seems to suck balls all round but boxing is none the less the second most watched sport on the network. Well I think NHL gets higher than that. Not bad for what are essentially under card fights.

Man ... how much did NBC spend on the Olympics to boost this networks ratings?

Over the past four weeks (Nov. 26-Dec. 23), the top program on NBCSN was bonus coverage of the 49ers/Patriots “Sunday Night Football” game (1.2M). Only one other program during that span even cracked 200,000 viewers — a live boxing telecast on December 8 (216K). [Click here for chart.]
