Boxers have no chance in MMA. Grappling/wrestling/BJJ are deep martial arts which require a completely different skillset. Chances are by the time a person can build a decent record as a professional boxer it's too late in their career to go back and achieve the level required to be remotely competitive in MMA.

MMA fighters have a chance in Boxing because there is always a 'punchers' chance.. they sold that whole fucking circus last night on that concept. Obviously 'punchers chance' becomes extremely remote when you have a 0-0 debut against a 49-0.

They are different sports - the conversation about Mayweather potentially competing in MMA is ridiculous. Why in the actual fuck would he even entertain the idea? Would the UFC pay him $300 mil to compete?

Considering that boxers have went into mma and won, I'm not sure what you guys mean?

A boxer going into mma with zero experience in mma, just his high level boxing or an mma guy gong into boxing with his mma boxing background.

I don't see how the mma guy has a better shot. Ray Mercer showed what's up. No one in mma is going to go in and Fuck with someone like ggg or Kovalev. Oh sure, puncher chance myth. Sorry but no. He can always run, and cage is HUGE, people like to brag about how him wouldnt last a minute in MMA against Conor, which might be true, but he wasnt the one calling Conor out for an MMA fight, it was the other way around it, and to make it "fair", he should had called out Canelo, a guy about his same size and age, not a retired 40yo guy, GOAT, but still 40yo and retired, then we might actually see how long does Conor last in a boxing fight.

FWIW, Floyd started the rumors they would fight. Floyd needed the money just as badly with the IRS breathing down his neck.
