Had like 1u on Easter and 1.5u on Broner itd so happy they stopped it but obviously a poor one. Theophane was hurt badly but obviously Broner hit him in the nuts going for the finish. It's funny b/c that's the same ref who let Pac kd Algieri like 6 or more times and didn't stop it but he decided to stop it this time.
I know Theo was hurt to the body, head, and nuts, but he's such a vet I wouldn't expect him to just wave at the ref like that, I definitely understand why the ref thought he was motioning that he wanted it stopped. That being said ref should've seen the lowblow in the first place.
Weird ending to the fight but Theophane just didn't have the pop or skillset to give Broner many problems. Broner's countering and defense is still an issue for him (Theophane was tagging him clean a good amount, especially downstairs but also to the head) he started to slow in the second half of the fight, and he's pretty bad when he's got his back against the ropes. His offense is very impressive, though, and he possesses a lot of power at 140. Just needs to stop being such a fucking idiot and worry about his craft rather than kicking guys asses who hustle him at bowling alleys.
Tomorrow have kind of a square parlay going on Helenius ml and Callum Smith itd. Not super sharp of me but I like both to get it done. Duhaupus tough as hell but limited, Helenius probably uses his jab and right hand, nothing fancy, boxes his way to a Dec in his hometown. Callum Smith has impressed me, he is a very well rounded fighter and he's got a good offensive arsenal. I think he stops the Frenchmen for the first time here. Getting it around Evens (-102 I believe) not a big bet and my gut says this is a bit square but I like it for a unit maybe 1.5u.
Also small bet on Adamek. Fight is on his home turf, he's definitely not the same guy he was a few years ago and he's a small hw, but he's still more skilled than Molina and I think he outboxes him to a Dec. Molina's big and pretty powerful but he's pretty limited other than that. Adamek is old but I think he'll be motivated to put on a nice performance in front of his fans against a largely inferior fighter in Molina. Adamek's last three losses have been against respected hw's vitali, Spilzka, and Glazkov, Molina isn't at any of their levels. The only thing that concerns me is Adamek's wear and tear. He's almost 40 but I still think a small bet on him at -160 is worth a stab.
