Boxing Discussion VIII

He's +750 at Marathon, had to take some of that out of principle. It's no question that he could pose some problems to Higa.
How are Japan scorecards usually? I know we had some funny situations like Murata - N'Dam 1 that went exactly opposite of how you'd expect. Are they biased towards home fighters usually?

well i bet that mararthon line too...for $12.00.

i took the +540 because i dont think that line is going to hold. japanese scoring is excellent, that wont be a problem and it is a title fight so the judges and ref will probably be from different countries. live betting will probably be offered so hopefully a hedge might be available

Can't see judging being an issue, obviously Higa is the promoted boxer but it's not going to be home judges so can't see anything too funny happening. I think Rosales does eventually succumb to the body work of Higa though so not playing it myself but like I said there's no history of very bias home judging in Japan.

imo, not a planned miss ala castillo/corrales rematch. i dont think that this miss should be taken the same as that ped-cheating mexican fukwad luis nery who as a ped cheat, clearly made no attempt to make weight

i believe japanese are very honorable people, higa missing may be looked upon as a form of disrespect and/or cheating to the japanese culture

That may weigh a lot in the judges view to be fair..

Took a bit of Hughes DNB @ 3.26 as well. He had some close fights against Joseph Ward and I think he has the skills to win against Bowen.

Rosales KO R9.

Did about 6.5u profit on that, good way to compensate for the first losing week in UFC this year.

Oh baby, I forgot about this, nice. 0.5u on that :)

Thanks for the tip!

Makes back some of the 13u loss on MMA

corner tossed in the towel. higa threw everything at the iron-chinned mayorga nicaraguan in the eighth round and when rosales pounded his chest signaling that he wanted more that was pretty much the end of the fight.

dont know if there is going to be a rematch, dont know if higa wants one unless he came in injured

3u Goes to distance on Khan-Greco @ 3.75...

Crazy odds, Khan isn't a KO artist and he will play this safe coming off that KO loss..

i played khan decision at the same price. phil is not going to win a decision in the UK wiht three UK judges unless he gets mulitple kds. the dec also gets the TD in case of the headbut. hedged with khan rds 10-12 as well.

lo greco hasnt taken much damage in his career and has had three months to train for this fight in las vegas. he took the porter fight on one month and spence in one week. he flew out on saturday so jet lag wont be a problem. i dont think hes coming for a paycheck and he showed good fight iq against porter holding shawn and grappling porter to get the fight to the distance

Jessie Vargas is going to smoke Broner.

How do you beat Adrien Broner? Pressure and outwork him

Whats Vargas gonna do? Pressure and outwork him, next question.

What happened to Adrien Broner? He was overhyped to begin and then the money/fame went to his head and he became AB (About Billions).

AB doesn't take his career seriously, he's out there assaulting multiple people on the street, getting DUI's, threatening suicide on instagram, it all seems very bi polar.

People say 'well it depend which Broner shows up', well he was meant to be all motivated for the Garcia fight but then he goes out there and doesn't throw any punches and loses

Broner has been looking motivated for this camp too but he doesn't live the lifestyle of a pro athlete. Sure you work hard for 8 weeks but what you doing the rest of the time, you know what I mean.

Jessie Vargas is a improving fighter that shows consistency in his performances, Jessie Vargas is always in the gym, The Mayweather Gym, he's lives the lifestyle of a pro athlete.

I trust Jessie Vargas to pressure and outwork Broner, he also has the ability to hurt Broner, don't be surprised when Broner hits the canvas

This is so fucked up. I tailed you last week on Elias to win the Andre the fucking Giant memorial wwe thing, which I absolutely knew was fake scripted nonsense. But I totally ignored you with this boxing pick when the dude had a realistic chance of winning at odds of around 6/1.

I need to have a really good think about my tailing strategy.

I can not believe me and levels agree!

Anyone biting at Narvaez @ 19.00?
Zolani probably wins 9/10 times, but 18 out of 19? ..

Or on Centano @ 16.5? ..
@quincy k , @CR0W , @JimGunn
