Boxing Discussion VIII

Canelo v Bud not far off now but gee it's a weird fight. The obvious is Canelo by decision but he gets so inactive during rounds and rarely looks to finish any more...

Bud giving up a huge amount of weight. If GGG couldn't ruck Canelo, Bud isn't putting a dent in him. They also aren't heated rivals so could easily look like a sparring match for a pay day given Bud likely to retire after anyway.

I think this fight greatly underwhelms from an entertainment POV sadly. Betwise not sure but really leaning Canelo Decision

I'm doing the classic draw bet, it's +1400 and worth a sprinkle. Wouldn't be surprised one bit if we get a questionable draw regardless of who should've won. I'm sure both parties would love to make another 8-9 figures in a rematch.

Anyone betting Crawford has to believe he's going to put on an undeniable masterclass, we know by now how hard it is to get a winning scorecard vs Canelo from the judges.

Weird dynamic in terms of betting this.

Canelo ML -167
Canelo decision +132
Fight goes distance -305

Going by this, Canelo decision seems more logical than ML but the wild card is that it's a real possibility that there's fuckery or whatever to figure out how to make this a draw. That seems more likely than a stoppage almost. At least if you bet Canelo ML you'll push if they scam this thing into a draw.

Then sprinkle on the draw too!

Sup all, I did my first every boxing show with 2 insanely sharp fellows.
First bet we gave out just cashed, U8.5 rounds in the Olescuaga fight at pick' em.

I honestly feel like every bet we gave out will cash this weekend. Have a suss if interested.

Im a huge Crawford fan. Probably my favorite boxer of the past 10 years. I also think Canelo has had an overrated resume since the 2nd GGG fight. That being said, I dont see how Bud wins this fight. I think the added weight is going to slow him down. I think hes going to be shocked with Canelo's handspeed.

Bud is not a Mayweather type of fighter. He isn't as fleet of foot. He isnt as fast period. His true skill is in his offense. One of the best I have ever seen at adapting and landing power punches in the middle of the fight. He isnt going to do what Lara and Floyd did. Hes going to fight fire with fire, and theres not many WW's I would pick in the past 20 years to beat Canelo that way.

If he decides hes going to move and pot shot then he wont win enough rounds to get it done. I cant wait for.the fight and I hope Im wrong.

Locked in Canelo ML -155, Canelo decision +135, and a tiny amount on draw +1600.

Walsh vs Vargas Jr looks completely one sided. My only available avenue to live bet was through an events contract on Robinhood. I loaded up on Walsh at effectively -225 if my math is correct. He seems like he's worlds better than Vargas.

I have Walsh up 6-1, but could be 5-2 I guess. Walsh just looks to land the better punches and put them together better by far.
